“My doctors told me I should never run again. Michigan Rehab and Performance proved them wrong.”

When Susan Smith landed hard on her right knee during a trail run she “heard the pop.” Prior surgeries from a car crash had always proved challenging for that knee.

Her doctors advised she never run again and consider “only walks on flat surfaces.”

“I’m 66 years old. I just retired. I love running through Michigan’s beautiful state parks.” After about 10 weeks, Susan had another scan. “The doctors were absolutely shocked at my progress and told me I could return to trail running.”

questions

What insurance does MRP accept?

We accept many insurance plans. Call us at (734) 245-2444 and we’ll check your coverage before your first visit.

What if my doctor and MRP conflict in advice?

We’re happy to talk with your physician directly. Our goal is a plan everyone on your care team understands, and we’ll always explain the reasoning behind ours.

What if I’m not an “athlete”?

You don’t need a jersey. MRP supports recovery and mobility after car wrecks, falls, sprains and everyday injuries. If you want to move well and stay active, you’re who we’re here for.

Do you accept cash or cards in lieu of insurance?

Yes. We accept cash and cards, and you can also use qualifying HSA and FSA funds.

How do you differ from any other PT?

You work 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy every visit, never handed off to an aide. Our therapists train in the sports they treat, and you leave your first appointment with a real plan.

Is anything guaranteed?

We guarantee you’ll work 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who listens and builds a plan around your goals. Every body heals differently, but our promise is to get you back to what you love and doing it better than before.
